Mike Jones, Owner

For 45 years Mike Owned and Operated Mike’s Landscaping and Nursey of Clare with dreams of doing bigger things.  Purchasing the Mountain has been a dream of Mike’s for over 20 years and now his dream has finally come true!  He inspires to return the Mountain to a fully functional resort with lots of fun to be a had along the way.  His visions include frequent live music events, concerts, festivals, weddings, and camping.  Since the property has been purchased (August 2020), Mike has been working diligently to restore the buildings and the grounds to working order.  This is a life project for him in which he has many phases of improvement to come.   Mike believes in the huge potential of the mountain and is excited to bring this business back to life for everyone to enjoy and for the health of the community.

 

Rebecca Tusek, Owner

For 10 years Rebecca has owned and operated Massage Central of Mount Pleasant and Cedar Valley Lodge Vacation rental of Comins. Prior to owning her own businesses, she spent many years in the food and hospitality industry. Rebecca is a high energy entrepreneur and visionary with many talents.  She’s been very active in the music festival community over the past 15 years and had dreamed of creating her own music festival.  4 days after she set her goal of throwing a real music festival, she met Mountain Mike who had just purchased the mountain and needed her business expertise.  An instant collaboration was formed, June 2021 Becca and Mike threw their first real music festival, The Free Bird Music Festival at Liberty Mountain.  Beyond helping with business operations, she is excited to incorporate a holistic element to Liberty Mountain and grow it as a healing community.  Her visions include Live Music, Music Festivals, Camping, Holistic Retreats and fun family events!
